Septorhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that aims to improve both the aesthetic appearance and functional structure of the nose. As the nose is one of the most prominent features of the face, it plays a key role in overall facial harmony. Through a single surgical intervention, it is possible to reshape the external structure of the nose while also correcting breathing problems related to the nasal septum. The procedure can be performed using either the open or the closed technique. The most appropriate surgical method is determined individually after careful evaluation of the patient’s nasal anatomy, current condition, and expectations. After the operation, a nasal splint is applied for approximately one week to help maintain the new shape of the nose during the early healing period.
