Successful Weight Loss Journey: 10 kg Lost in Just One Month
Our 50 year old patient from Bulgaria successfully underwent Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy (Gastric Sleeve Surgery) on 1 June 2026, performed by Mustafa Önder Dolap, MD, General Surgery Specialist at Vatan Hospital.
The patient presented to our hospital with complaints related to obesity. Following a comprehensive medical evaluation, they were diagnosed with morbid obesity with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 44.6. After assessing the patient's overall health and treatment options, Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy was recommended as the most appropriate solution.
The surgery was completed successfully, and the patient was discharged in good health on 5 June 2026. At the one-month follow-up appointment, the patient had already lost 10 kilograms demonstrating an excellent early outcome after surgery.
